In the second quarter of 2025, the top social apps in Portugal showed varied performance trends, as reported by Sensor Tower.

Facebook saw a fluctuation in its weekly revenue, peaking at around $4.9K in early May and ending June with approximately $4.6K. Weekly downloads stayed relatively stable, with a slight rise mid-quarter reaching about 12.8K, while active users showed a minor increase from 2.9M to over 3M.

Threads experienced a steady download rate, starting at about 25K and ending at 23.5K. Active users fluctuated, initially seeing a decrease but later recovering to around 1.1M by the end of the quarter.

TikTok - Videos, Shop & LIVE maintained a strong revenue presence, peaking at nearly $146K in late May. Downloads showed a descending trend from 14.7K to about 13K, while active users remained relatively stable, hovering around 1.6M.

Instagram reported a diverse performance with revenue reaching up to $15.5K mid-June. Download numbers started at 9.2K and dipped to 7.8K before a slight recovery. Active users consistently hovered around 2.4M to 2.5M throughout the quarter.

Widgetable: Besties & Couples showed revenue growth, peaking at $435 in late June. Downloads varied, with a high of 7.9K in April before stabilizing around 2.2K. The app's active user base grew from 42K to 51K by mid-June.
